How do I connect LOGO.com to Claude, Codex, or other AI tools (MCP)?

You can connect your LOGO.com account to AI assistants like Claude and Codex. Once you're connected, you can ask your assistant to show your saved logos, pull your brand colors and fonts, grab your logo files, and create new logo designs, all without leaving the chat.

This works through MCP (Model Context Protocol), a standard way for AI assistants to safely use apps you sign in to. LOGO.com's MCP server lets your assistant use your LOGO.com account.

Who can use it?

Any LOGO.com account, including a Free account, can connect an AI tool to LOGO.com and use get_account to see your account info, like your plan, domains, business email, and websites.

The logo tools (list_logos, get_logo, generate_logos, and get_logo_generation) need a paid plan. The Brand Plan and Business Plan get the same access.

If you're on a Free account, your assistant will show a "premium plan required" message when it tries to use one of the logo tools. You can upgrade anytime from our plans page. Not sure what's free and what's paid? See Can I get the logo for free?

How to connect

In any AI tool that supports remote MCP connectors, add this address as a remote MCP connector:

https://mcp.logo.com/mcp

Then sign in with your LOGO.com account when you're asked. There's no API key to copy or paste. Any LOGO.com account can connect, but to use the logo tools, sign in with the account that has your Brand Plan or Business Plan.

Here are the steps for specific tools:

Claude Code

  1. Run these two commands in your terminal:
    claude plugin marketplace add logocode/logo-plugins
    claude plugin install logo-com@logo-plugins
  2. Start a new Claude Code session (or run /reload-plugins).
  3. Run /mcp, choose plugin:logo-com:logo-com, and sign in to LOGO.com.

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. Go to Customize > Plugins > Add > Add marketplace and enter https://github.com/logocode/logo-plugins.
  2. Install LOGO.com from that marketplace.
  3. Open the plugin's Connectors tab, connect LOGO.com, and sign in.

Codex

  1. Run these commands in your terminal:
    codex plugin marketplace add logocode/logo-plugins
    codex plugin add logo-com@logo-plugins
    codex mcp login logo-com
  2. Sign in to LOGO.com when you're asked, then start a new thread.

You can also install it from /plugins in the Codex CLI.

LOGO.com isn't available in ChatGPT yet. We'll update this article as soon as it is.

Full setup details are also in our LOGO.com plugins guide on GitHub.

What can I do once I'm connected?

Your assistant can use these LOGO.com tools:

Tool What it does
list_logos Shows your 50 most recent saved logos.
get_logo Gets the colors, fonts, and download files (PNG, transparent PNG, SVG, and PDF) for one logo.
generate_logos Creates up to 4 new logo designs from your business name. You can also add a style, colors, and an icon idea.
get_logo_generation Checks on new designs that are still being created.
get_account Shows your account info: your business name, plan and remaining AI credits, domains, business email, websites, and how many logos, email signatures, and merchandise orders you have. Available on all plans, including Free.

You don't need to remember the tool names. Just ask in plain words, like:

  • "Show me my recent LOGO.com logos, then give me the colors and fonts for my bakery logo."
  • "Create logo ideas for Maple Street Bakery in a minimal style, using green and cream, with a wheat icon."
  • "What plan am I on, and which domains do I have?"

Good to know: New designs from generate_logos are drafts. To keep one, open it in the LOGO.com editor and save it.

Limits and AI credits

  • Creating new designs with generate_logos uses your account's AI credits.
  • Each user can make up to 60 requests a minute and 20 logo generations an hour.
  • You can run one logo generation at a time.

Troubleshooting

I see a "premium plan required" message.
This message only applies to the logo tools (list_logos, get_logo, generate_logos, and get_logo_generation), which need a paid plan. Checking your account info with get_account works on any plan. To use the logo tools, check that you signed in with the LOGO.com account that has your Brand Plan or Business Plan, or upgrade your plan.

My assistant says I've hit a limit, or a new generation won't start.
You can run one generation at a time, up to 20 an hour, and up to 60 requests a minute. If a generation is still running, ask your assistant to check on it and wait for it to finish before you start another. If you've hit a limit, wait a bit and try again.

I can't find the logos my assistant created.
New designs stay drafts until you save them. Open the design in the LOGO.com editor and save it, and it'll show up with your saved logos.

I wasn't asked to sign in, or the connection isn't working.

  • In Claude Code, run /mcp again, choose plugin:logo-com:logo-com, and sign in.
  • In Codex, run codex mcp login logo-com.
  • In other tools, check that the connector address is exactly https://mcp.logo.com/mcp, then sign in with your LOGO.com account. There's no API key to enter.
