Getting Started: A First-Time User's Guide

LOGO.com is an all-in-one branding platform that goes well beyond logo creation, offering brand guidelines, website tools, merchandise, and business email in one dashboard. Here's how to find your way around when you're just getting started.

Setting up your brand

When you first log in, you'll land on your Brand dashboard, which is organized around a specific brand or project (shown at the top, e.g., "What do you want to create for [Your Brand]?"). From here you can choose to Create, build a Website, design a Logo, browse Templates, or explore Business Tools. If you haven't made a logo yet, the Logo option walks you through picking a style and generating options based on your business name and industry.

Navigating the left sidebar

The sidebar is your main navigation and stays consistent across the platform. Brand is your home base, holding your logo files (primary logos, watermark versions, favicons, monograms, color palettes, and more) plus a "Create New" button and "Edit Your Logo" link. Guidelines lets you build out a full brand style guide covering logos, colors, fonts, and usage rules, which you can share with others via a link. Templates offers ready-made designs for social media posts, business cards, letterheads, and mockups that automatically use your brand colors and logo. Projects is where any designs or images you create and upload are stored. Website covers link-in-bio pages, domain management, and online stores. Email provides business email setup (powered by Titan) and email signature creation. Merch lets you preview your logo on products like clothing, mugs, and hats for print-on-demand. Business+ rounds things out with special partner offers and a learning hub.

Editing your logo

Clicking "Edit Your Logo" opens a dedicated design editor with its own toolbar: Templates, Layouts, Elements, Palettes, Text, Layers, History, Favorites, and Previews. This is where you can fine-tune colors, swap layouts, add text or graphic elements, and preview your logo on different backgrounds before saving. Changes are saved with the "Save Logo" button in the top right, and you can favorite versions you like.

Managing your account

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner to switch between logos/brands (if you have more than one), add a new logo project, upgrade to a Brand Plan, edit account details, manage billing, get help, or log out.

A few tips for getting started

Start by finalizing your primary logo, since most other tools (templates, merch previews, brand guidelines) pull from it automatically. Building out your Brand Guidelines early is worthwhile if you plan to share brand assets with a team or outside collaborators. Keep an eye out for promotional banners (like discount offers) at the top of the dashboard; these are optional upsells, not required steps. Finally, the blue question-mark icon in the bottom-right corner of most pages opens contextual help if you get stuck on a specific feature.
