How to Create Your Link in Bio Page
Your Link in Bio page lets you share all your important links in one place — perfect for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social profiles.
The Link in Bio Editor lets you build a fully customized, branded page at your personal hi.link URL — perfect for sharing all your important links in one place from your social media profiles. This guide walks you through every section of the editor so you can get your page live quickly.
Step 1: Choose a Template
When you open the Link in Bio Editor, the first thing you can do is pick a starting point. Click Templates in the left sidebar to browse available designs. You can filter by Link in Bio or One Page Site style, or start completely from scratch by selecting Start from scratch. Selecting a template will pre-populate your page with a layout and style you can then customize.
Step 2: Set Up Your Profile Information
Click Content in the left sidebar, then click the arrow next to Profile Information. Here you can:
- Profile Image — Upload a photo or logo (recommended size: 500×500 px) to display at the top of your page.
- Profile Title — Enter your name, brand name, or business name.
- Description — Add a short tagline or bio that tells visitors who you are.
You can also toggle the eye icon next to Profile Information to show or hide this section on your live page.
Step 3: Add and Manage Sections
Your page is built from sections. In the Content panel, click + Add Section to insert a new section below your existing ones. Each section can hold one or more elements (see Step 4). You can reorder sections by dragging them using the six-dot handle on the left side of each section row. To delete a section, click the trash icon next to it.
Alternatively, click Sections in the left sidebar to browse premade section layouts organized by type (Hero, About, Contact, and more). Click any premade section to instantly add it to your page.
Step 4: Add Elements to a Section
Click the arrow on any section to open it, then click + Add Element to choose what to place inside that section. The available element types are:
- Your Links — Add clickable buttons that link to your important business pages or external URLs.
- Text — Add a paragraph, heading, or any custom text to tell visitors more about you or your business.
- Social Icons — Display icon buttons for your social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Image — Upload an image to showcase your products, work, or brand.
- Address — Show your physical location so customers know where to find you.
- Google Maps — Embed an interactive Google Map with your location pinned.
- Form — Add a contact or lead-capture form to collect information from visitors.
Each element has its own Content and Design tabs inside the editor panel, where you can customize text, colors, fonts, and layout options specific to that element.
Step 5: Customize the Look with Style
Click Style in the left sidebar to change the overall visual theme of your page. You can:
- Select one of Your Logos to instantly apply your brand's colors and fonts.
- Choose from Pre-designed styles (such as Brand Standout or Brand Minimal) to quickly apply a polished look.
Individual section design settings (background color, corner radius, padding, max content width, and column layout) can also be adjusted by opening a section and clicking the Design tab.
Step 6: Configure Settings
Click Settings in the left sidebar to access two tabs:
- Publish tab — Shows your current publish status and your free hi.link URL (e.g., yourname.hi.link). You can also upgrade to a custom domain here.
- SEO tab — Set a Meta Image, Meta Title, and Meta Description so your page looks great when shared on social media or found in search engines.
Step 7: Preview Your Page
Use the device toggle buttons at the top right of the editor (desktop and mobile icons) to switch between a desktop and mobile preview of your page. This lets you make sure your page looks great on all devices before publishing.
Step 8: Track Performance with Analytics
Click Analytics in the left sidebar to see traffic insights for your published page. You can filter by time interval (Hourly, Daily, etc.) and date range (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, etc.) to understand how many people are visiting your page and clicking your links.
Step 9: Publish Your Page
When you are happy with your page, click the blue Publish button in the top-right corner of the editor. Your page will go live at your hi.link URL and the status will change from Unpublished to Published. Any future edits you make will need to be republished to appear on your live page.
Tips
- Use the undo and redo arrows at the top of the editor if you make a mistake.
- To remove the LOGO.com watermark from the footer of your page, expand the Remove Logo Watermark section in the Content panel and upgrade your plan.
- Your page is automatically saved as you work — look for the Saved indicator at the top of the editor.
